This set of watercolour paintings feature cacti forests, one in blue and the other in green.

The original paintings were later used as inspiration for a window mural that I did for an event at Cafe Zarah, "Art for Nature". This was my first year participating in this event which celebrated and raised awareness about environmental sustainability. Stickers and prints were also created and sold at the event.

This illustration plays with texture and colour to create dimension and perspective. Also, I just love succulents in geometrical pots!
The colour palette used for this illustration is shared below. By first choosing the colours, I am able to restrict the palette which creates a cohesive effect to the illustration.
